Tilt Buckets
ShawX tilt buckets are ideal for a variety of uses including; final trim, building of dams, drains, contours and batters, as well as most cleanup work.
The unique design of a ShawX tilt bucket includes a long floor, continuous radius skin, a low headplate with a low centre pivot, making for smooth operation. The open back design helps to free material and debris from around the centre pivot and rams to prevent wear or damage incurred in the closed box tilt pockets.
Our tilt buckets are built with full 450 grade lower side wear strips, underside wear strips and a large, high headboard to ensure that the bucket has a long life and lasts well. We manufacture all parts including cylinders and pivot barrels in house, and so carry a large range of spare parts, if ever required.
A ShawX tilt bucket allows the bucket to be tilted up to 45 degrees in each direction. The benefit of a tilt bucket over a tilt hitch is that the tilt bucket provides the option of removing the bucket and using another attachment on a standard hitch, reducing the arm length to increase breakout performance on your machine. Whereas, a tilt hitch adds extra weight and extra length to your machine all the time.

Tilt Bucket Uses
General Uses:
Tilt buckets are a necessity for all kinds of final trim, including dams, drains, contours and batters. They are the perfect tool for grading and final trim, any light material load outs or handling.
Mining Uses:
Scraping overburden of coal seams and chasing the coal seam or the lights off the top of a rock shelf. This allows for more product and less wastage in the mining application. We have customers who have seen a big benefit from this on larger types of machinery.
Tilt Buckets
A tilt bucket allows you to adjust the position of your bucket rather than moving the machine, giving more performance and faster turn around times, which includes more production.
